Bags, Cases, Purses and more...

These sturdy bags are made from top grain vegetable tanned cowhide. The tanning process and finished leather is called “English Bridle”. Hartman Leather sources from a tannery in Curwenville, PA, where they split the leather down to a suitable weight, generally 5 – 51/2 oz. Leather craftsman Dave Hartman finds this weight to be ideal for his work, as the leather will mellow and soften while keeping its shape.

Bags are carefully crafted at Hartman's Granville Island shop. Pieces are glued together and then sewn with nylon thread. All stress points are reinforced and inner pockets are made of glazed pigskin. Each detail is carefully considered to ensure the bag's longevity and many years of enjoyment for the buyer. With proper care, these bags can last a lifetime. All bags are available in black and brown with an adjustable shoulder strap. All bags are unisex.

Care instructions:

Clean your Hartman Leather product using a neutral shoe cream or a high quality leather cleaner. This will keep moisture in the leather and helps it from drying out over time. In rainy climates, silicone spray is also highly recommended. For best results, Hartman Leather recommends Meltonian neutral shoe cream and Lexol leather conditioner.
